Heiko Tietze <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ever confirmed|1 |0 Status|NEEDINFO |UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #17 from Heiko Tietze <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Boyd Fletcher from comment #9) > please add the ability to name and edit bullet and ordered list configurations I understand "Bullet Library" now as the floating widget that you get after clicking on the list/s icon in the toolbar. And you probably expect to amend and replace the default. These buttons generate a list style on-the-fly. It is a convenience function to "direct formatting" of the actual list styles, which are available for customization in the Stylist (the sidebar tab for styles; you find the LS as the last item in the icon-only tabs). The usual workflow with styles is essential for text processing and should be covered more or less acceptable with a styles picker in the Tabbed UI (and similar means in the classic UI). It makes a lot of sense to provide list styles in a similar way, meaning you configure the LS and see a preview of this style in a dedicated picker. This would be bug 153525 - Styles Preview should be able to show a grid of list styles (Tabbed UI). Many users don't understand the relation between paragraphs and attached lists (Outline & List) and prefer the ease of clicking a button. It's a bad habit and leads to an inconsistent layout. Nevertheless you can change the bullet of the default eight presets. Tracking also other attributes such as alignment and tab stop is going the wrong direction. I suggest to either make it a duplicate of bug 153525 or resolve WF. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
