            Bug ID: 174232
           Summary: UI Problem
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: LibreOffice
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Hello. I am a casual user of LibreOffice. I have tried to switch to this suite
several times, but I haven’t quite managed to make the transition. For some
reason, my Windows system struggles to handle the interface of Writer (the
program I am most interested in using). I have consistently encountered errors,
crashes, and unexpected closures—not to mention a clunky user interface and
awkward menus. I recently tested it in a GNU/Linux environment, where the
interface is much more user-friendly and runs significantly more smoothly.

As a user—and as someone who strongly believes in open source and free
software—I would like to request an improvement to the interface on Windows
systems, bringing it up to the same standard as the one implemented for Linux.
I believe this is the biggest hurdle for users like me who are accustomed to
the proprietary Microsoft Office suite, which offers a much more user-friendly
interface. I am confident that if LibreOffice featured a more intuitive
interface, it would be far more appealing to the average user.

Thank you for considering my request. Best regards.
