            Bug ID: 174218
Summary: Font Display Issue: When I type certain letter
combinations containing an F, in the font Noto Serif,
on my Mac version, it turns into a lowercase q or p
                    full of accent marks
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.8.0.3 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
When I use Noto Serif, and type fl, fi or ff, the letters turn into an
amalgamation, always containing a q, with a series of accent marks. This
problem doesn't persist when I italicize a word, only when I use the plain text
version of this font. Moreover, while the problem does persist in Print
Preview, it does not persist when I click "Print" and scroll through the pages.
Nor does it persist in a PDF. Nor does the character copy over to other
programs. And yes. I opened this program in Troubleshoot Mode.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the LibreOffice Mac Intel version 26.8.0.3, in MacOS Ventura 13.2.1 to
be safe
2.Type a word containing fl, fi, or ff in the Noto Serif font. Leave it as
plain text

Actual Results:
The fl, ff, and fi combinations turned into a q or p with a series of accents.
I'm not sure what language those accents are supposed to be from.

Expected Results:
The fl, ff, and fi combinations were supposed to stay the same

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
I already tried opening LibreOffice in troubleshoot mode. Since the problem
persisted, I know it's not on my end.
