a comparison of the output
When exporting a legacy Word 97-2003 (.doc) file to PDF, all header and footer
text is stripped from the resulting PDF document. This function worked
perfectly in version 26.2.6 but fails in version 26.8.0.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a legacy .doc file containing headers and footers.
2. Navigate to File, then Export As, then Export as PDF.
3. In the PDF Options dialog, ensure Export bookmarks and Tagged PDF are
checked.
4. Click Export and save the file.
5. Open the resulting PDF.
Actual Results:
The header and footer text is entirely missing from the exported PDF.
Expected Results:
The header and footer text should be preserved in the exported PDF, as it was
in version 26.2.6.
