            Bug ID: 173307
Summary: Can’t use the context menu in the styles deck with GTK
                    backend
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
The context menu for a style in the styles deck is unusable because the
selected style constantly jumps back to the current style in the document after
right-clicking.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new writer document
2. Type some text into the document
3. Click the styles button on the right of the window to open the styles deck
4. Right click on one of the styles
5. Click edit style

Actual Results:
A short while after you click the right mouse button the selected style jumps
back to “Default Paragraph Style”. Then the dialog that pops up tries to edit
that style instead of the one you selected.

Expected Results:
The dialog should edit the style that you clicked on.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
It’s worse for the character styles. In that case you end up editing the “No
Character Style” style, which doesn’t make any sense. Normally the edit styles
option is greyed out if you click that directly.

This doesn’t happen if I set SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=gen or qt5 so it’s probably
specific to GTK.

Version: 27.2.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64)
Build ID: 6d1c73240b7929b08c11a3bda2704f430a953855
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 7.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: fr-FR (fr_FR.UTF-8); UI: fr-FR
Calc: threaded
