Description:
The menu entry "Find and Replace..." has a checkmark, i.e. it appears as an
option that can be selected or not.
Menu entries with checkmarks usually select properties or modes that can be
turned on or off. One could interpret the showing of a window in this way, but
it seems to be rather unusual and I could not find suggestions for this use of
menu entries in Windows or Mac interface guidelines.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) Call up the "Find and Replace" dialog
2) Open the the edit menu
Actual Results:
If the icon for the find and replace menu entry is active, it shows a
highlighted icon (default config except under gtk, I think), if there is no
icon, it shows a checkmark
Expected Results:
Find and replace should not be presented as an option that can be switched on
and off, even though one could technically view a window as such (close=off,
opened=on)
