Bug ID: 173291
Summary: Tabbed UI is Fully Blue and Can't Be Changed on a Mac
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.8.0.3 release
Hardware: ARM
OS: macOS (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: UI
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
The new toolbar UI in 26.8 turns the ribbons fully blue in Tabbed, Tabbed
Compact, Grouped Compact, and Contextual Single views. There is no grey chrome,
just an awful blue fill. LibreOffice documentation consistently refers to to
Tools > Options > Appearance, but this doesn't exist on the Mac. No option that
exists in LibreOffice -> Appearance seems to eliminate or affect the blue fill.
Please give Mac users the options to restore the neutral grey background or
otherwise adjust the background, the blue fill is not appropriate.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open LibreOffice
2. Select Tabbed, Tabbed Compact, Grouped Compact, or Contextual Single view.
Actual Results:
The toolbar has a blue fill.
Expected Results:
The toolbar should have a grey fill, or otherwise be adjustable.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
I have tried completely removing the program, the user library, and starting in
troubleshooting mode. Nothing helps.
