--- Comment #8 from Eyal Rozenberg <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Heiko Tietze from comment #5) > No. A new PS has character attributes. There is no style, and definitely no > "Default CS". You're splitting hairs, Heiko. I said that a CS exists _implicitly_, as the collection of character attributes. > |Of course, if an explicit CS is applied, it takes precedence (according to > |general rules). > When creating a PS? No, when applying a CS to text in a paragraph. > So you do want a CS being created first and then applied to the new PS. All that we ask is that the PS dialog cover all character properties, as though we were editing a proper CS. > There is no "Default CS" but "No CS". That is how a style always works. Properties that are not defined are inherited. > These are just two different things. I hope ajlittoz convinced you, but generally - if it's doable with a CS, then it needs to be doable with the implicit default CS for the paragraph, i.e. with the character properties within the PS. This will always have a use case, and more over, it is necessary for consistency. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
