Personally, I think this would be a good idea, but if it is going to be added to the JDBCDriverOOo, would it not also be a good idea to have it in C++ so that the native drivers can make use of it as well ? There are already the beginnings of DB rights management in the UI for the native Mysql/MariaDB C++ driver, but whilst a user can be selected from the known users of the DB, the dialog doesn't appear to allow one to de/activate any of the rights to any given table. >From my recollection, this functionality is currently incompletely implemented.
