Is it required to have a different version of an existing dialog or can we test
just by having an arbitrary dialog open and then importing a different dialog?

I created a new dialog without doing anything to it and then imported a dialog
from the share/basic directory. I don't see the issue on Windows or Linux.

In your version info we see UI render: Skia/Vulkan. Vulkan was recently moved
behind experimental options. I wonder, if you see the issue without Vulkan.
