=========================================
I edited my diary and then did File Close, so I then had a general LibreOffice
screen with icons for recently edited files. Then I clicked on my diary again
to add something, and I got a pop-up saying something like that it found a
format error in a certain sub-something-or-other. I clicked on OK, and it went
back to the screen with the icons of recent files.
I then opened my diary file with WordPad, and it loaded fine.
I tried to close LibreOffice but it wouldn't obey, so I used Task Manager to
kill it, and then tried opening my file again in LibreOffice, and it did work.
So there was no damage in the end, but for a while I thought I might have lost
everything I had added to my diary since the last time I backed it up, a couple
weeks ago!
