I support a massive reduction in the use of menus in icons. Perhaps even 
completely remove them. Comparing the menus in GTK3 and QT5/KF5 - I am annoyed
and distracted by the icons; they are not helping.

I suppose I can live with this, but - I wonder if it's worth the trouble, given
that the menus have a bunch of radio-items and check-items already, which draw
attention.

Also there's the question of which items are the most important. Have we ever
ranked menu items by their importance? And - what happens when the user
customizes the menus? e.g. suppose the 4 most important items get icons; now
the user removes 3 of them; do we now have 1 item with an icon, or 4, with the
next 3 in the order of importance getting an icon?
