I found this functionality to work ok in the latest version of LibreOffice (Version: 26.2.2.2 (X86_64)). I've now also tested it using the version of LibreOffice which is available as part of Debian 13 (Version: 25.2.3.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community, Debian package version: Debian package version: 4:25.4.3+deb13u3).
