Additionally, many apps such as IDEs, word processes and other third party software, as well as LibreOffice, already provide a specific help section. So it seems to me that this it is a known and well adapted concept. Given that we give the user the option to disable or hide such a tab, I believe it would make the UI more consistent with other apps instead of wasting unnecessary space.
