Bug ID: 171521
Summary: unable to set "text box" within "control properties"
(design mode) background color to "none" or
"transparent"
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.1.2 release
Hardware: All
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Draw
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
the option to change the background color to "no fill" in the control
properties (text box) is missing. I need to have the background in a text box
when designing fillable forms to be set to transparent or "none". Currently,
the white background is not transparent, thus it does not let me put a line to
be visible by PDF users.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.selected design mode
2.selected "text box"
3.draw the text box
4.selected "control properties"
5.used drop box for background color
6.>> I cannot proceed further as this is where there is no option for "none",
nor "transparent", nor "no fill". only options are actual opaque colors from
white and other colors.
Actual Results:
there is no option for "none", nor "transparent", nor "no fill". only options
are actual opaque colors from white and other colors.
Expected Results:
ability to change the background to "none" or "transparent" so that when I
create form fields (text box), the text box is not obscuring the lines I put on
the page for PDF users to print professional forms.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: Yes
Additional Info:
create an option in the "properties: Text Box" floating menu's background color
option to provide "no color", or "none", or "transparency" (with ability to
enter 100%).
