--- Comment #2 from Mateusz Wlazłowski <[email protected]> ---
The issue is not present in :

Version: 26.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64)
Build ID: 71f60927f6998e0da3d1d46029a5a154132c67d4
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.17; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

I tried to bibisect the fix, but linux-64-26.8 oldest was fine, while
linux-64-26.2 master (Jan 27 20:21:00 2026) was not ok

So instead i bibisected the regression, linux-64-26.2:

commit dfa2688357941d61765011cce0e511c9fd1f42a4 [log]

gtk: Don't force redraw if "resize" didn't resize

rather spurious resize events seen on pressing and holding gtk scrollbar
in calc in tdf#156297 where the main topic is windows/gen2

I noticed that in Bug 170719, a similar issue was fixed, although the commit
from which the issue occurred is different

Tried

Version: 26.2.2.1 (X86_64)
Build ID: 251225596f12c6d3f2985252eb1eaca9640c7bfd
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.17; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

And it works fine, the issue will be fixed in the next release
