Actually it's hard to say, but I had various situations when LO just behaved
odd for no obvious reason, and restarting fixed the issue most of time time;
sometimes it even crashed and fix the issue that way. My suspect is tha there
is some memory corruption going on that leads to such odd effects. Of course if
you don't see the effects of memory corruption immediately, it's hard to tell
what had caued them once to notice the effects.

Also I'm not allowed to install any software on that machine.
