Well the 'templates' of Office (or at least Online) appears to have color a
separate picker option. Instead of a couple hardcoded color styles. With the
downside of the color being applied to everything, but does give a clean look.
The Writer Box List Type Table styles are quite an attraction/distraction
(taste) 

The Online version is quite basic regarding configurability. So kind of
comparing apples with oranges.

However the ease of switching colors is far simpler. So now my 'complain'
extends
A) Having hardcoded styles which only different in row color quite a
duplication
B) Changing the row color to something else (in case of the Box List type of
style) is quite an exercise. You need to adjust "4 element" and the color
multiple times. So trying around is no fun either...
