No problem here to execute the scripts in an internal HSQLDB. No "Unexpected
token …" when executing first script separately.

It has been executed by Tools → SQL…
So I have to execute View → Refresh Tables (mark "Tables" before running this
command)
Without refreshing the tables they won't be shown, because the GUI doesn't know
anything about what is going on in Tools → SQL.

Tables exist here after executing the code. Tables will be shown in Tools →
Relationships… 

So I couldn't see any buggy behavior here. Might be a special bug with Windows
and Java, but you didn't write anything about the Java version and about the
database you use.
