            Bug ID: 167854
Summary: RFE Config option to disable macro security checking
                    against revocation list
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 26.2.0.0 alpha0+ master
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

When a trusted macro certificate is set up in the Options - Security - Macro
Security -> Trusted Sources tab, and a document with signed macros is opened,
the validity of the certificate is checked against a certificate revocation
list in the background.

This can be problematic if the users internet connection at a certain place is
permanently not available, or a custom server with the revocation list is not
available. LO in such case tries to connect until a network timeout happens,
which can be seen by the user as an annoying lag upon file open.

It would be desirable in such a situation have an expert config key, that
disables the checking of the certificate revocation status - of course
verification of the signature needs to still work.
