            Bug ID: 167287
Summary: MySQL/MariaDB direct Connection: DATE_ADD is unknown
function for GUI, executing only possible in direct
                    SQL
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Connect to MariaDB by direct connection.
Try to add a day to a timestamp or a date field.
See:
https://mariadb.com/docs/server/reference/sql-functions/date-time-functions/date_add

It will work when direct SQL is chosen in query editor. It won't work in GUI.
So I can't use this function for a query, which should be used for input new
data in a form.

Function DATE_ADD should be added as a known function for direct connection
through MariaDB.

Bug appears in
Version: 25.2.4.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 33e196637044ead23f5c3226cde09b47731f7e27
CPU threads: 6; OS: Linux 6.4; UI render: default; VCL: kf5 (cairo+xcb)
Locale: de-DE (de_DE.UTF-8); UI: de-DE
Calc: threaded

but also in all older versions.
