            Bug ID: 166997
Summary: Drop shadow under image not present when image is jpeg
                    or indexed color png
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Impress
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
This bug is reproducible. It is present in LO Impress 25.X and 24.X, but not
version 7.4.7.

If an image is imported into a slide/ presentation, and a shadow is enabled,
this shadow will only show if this image is a png > 512 colors. No shadow will
be created for jpeg images and png index color images 256 colors.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Create a presentation
2.Import an image
3.Select the image, go to style sidebar (F11) and Enable shadow (tick box)
4.It is possble to vary the settings here. These will have no effect because no
shadow is created.
5. Remarkably... scroll down in the Style menu
6. Under "Line" select a line and set thickmness
7. Now a shadow *of the line* will be shown *but not* of the image (body).

Actual Results:
See Steps to Reporduce

Expected Results:
Drop shadow when Shadow is enabled for a selected image (similar as in earlier
impress version).

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:

to 25.2.3 and most 24.X (sorry not sure), but not version 7.4.7 (double checked
by (re)install/ downgrade).
Bug occurs on various boxen, with similar LO version but different DE, i.e.
Ubuntu, Mint, Debian.
