I can confirm the same issue on my end with LibreOffice 7.x — files over SSHFS
(mounted via Thunar) no longer open like they did with LibreOffice 6. It seems
like a regression. As a workaround, opening files directly via libreoffice
/path/to/file.odt in terminal still works, but it breaks file associations and
normal desktop workflows. Hope this gets addressed soon!
