Numbering button works in the side bar when the Notes View is focused
1. Open a new presentation
2. Switch to the Notes View, click into the notes box
-> on the Properties sidebar under Lists the Numbering dropdown is enabled
3. Enable View - Notes Pane
4. Type something into the Notes Pane
-> on the Properties sidebar under Lists the Numbering dropdown is disabled
