Bug ID: 163432 Summary: Launching LibreOffice Calc crashes the entire graphical environment on EndeavourOS with KDE Product: LibreOffice Version: 24.2.6.2 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: ibuiltasonic+bugsdocumentfoundat...@protonmail.com Description: On EndeavourOS with KDE, with a fresh installation of LibreOffice, launching LibreOffice Calc via the graphical interface crashes my entire graphical environment. It appears to crash the graphics driver as a whole. The screen goes black, and my monitor stops receiving a display signal until I reboot. Starting LibreOffice Calc in safe mode via the command line succeeds in launching. Disabling hardware acceleration fixes this issue, but I feel it's catastrophic enough to warrant fixing. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install LibreOffice Still via yay 2. Open LibreOffice Calc 3. After about 20 seconds of the loading bar, complete loss of display signal. Actual Results: Completely lost display signal until the next reboot Expected Results: Launched normally Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: Version: 24.2.6.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 420(Build:2) CPU threads: 16; OS: Linux 6.11; UI render: default; VCL: kf6 (cairo+wayland) Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US 24.2.6-5 Calc: threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
