Bug ID: 163327 Summary: Pinned "Menu" section of GroupedBar Compact toolbar sometimes does not get anchored properly when half-split tiling the window Product: LibreOffice Version: 24.8.2.1 release Hardware: All OS: Linux (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: UI Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: nekoh...@gmail.com Created attachment 196928 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=196928&action=edit Demonstration video See attached video, as it will be much clearer. With the GroupedBar Compact toolbar UI mode, normally, when resizing the window or tiling it, the "Menu" section on the right of the toolbar will remain visible at all times, i.e. it will hide other sections to keep that one pinned to the right. However, in some situations, such as when tiling the window (Super+Left or Super+Right on GNOME) and the toolbars have lots of contents, this anchoring/pinning will not work and the "Menu" section will get cut off; yet, you can see that it works when resizing the window, just not when tiling. In other words, the behavior is inconsistent depending on how you resize the window. Tested with: Version: 24.8.2.1 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 0f794b6e29741098670a3b95d60478a65d05ef13 CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.10; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3 Locale: en-CA (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US Flatpak On Fedora 40's GNOME 46 Wayland session. It happened on every previous version that offered the GroupedBar Compact UI, too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
