May be you intermixed a git version and release version?
Many new flags were added in git and are not yet released.

Yes, I do. My MHD version: 0.9.52. Problem: "error: ‘MHD_USE_ERROR_LOG’ undeclared". But it compiles fine with other flags like MHD_USE_EPOLL_INTERNALLY, MHD_SUPPRESS_DATE_NO_CLOCK. Strange. :S
