libcdio 2.2.0 was just released on GitHub. It is a slight modification to the 2.1.1 release that occurred recently.
Jan Alexander Steffens who works with Arch Linux noticed there was API and ABI breakage and that we neither bumped the ".so" number on the shared libraries, not the internal version number used in the C header include file.
