The problem was that a CD had encoding 0x01 (7 bit ASCII) but used a
character from the upper half of ISO-8859-1.
That's interesting thanks. cdrdao doesn't really care actually, the toc
format just escapes out whatever binary data it finds, but I realized
cdrdao always burn out the character code as 0 no matter what, which
isn't ideal. So I'm trying to understand how common those non-0 CDs are...
