Hello,

I have been using lftp for a while now and know that it is clearly the best ftp client around.  I have not sent you an email before regarding bugs but I have collaborated through a friend, Jeff Litvin, about the various bugs I have come across such as the FEAT timeout a short while back.

Here’s another one I encountered while using fxp from a remote ftp server called DrFTPD to a local server on my computer (glftpd v1.32).

I am pretty the root cause of this bug is DrFTPD but I was wondering if it is possible to implement a time-out for the following situation.  What happens is the fxp transfer completes then I see the site stats appear from glftpd when the file is done, then it just sits there and remains idle on the 2 sites with the message “`file.001' at 0 (0%) [Waiting for other copy peer...]” in lftp.  If you need any more specific information I can copy debug logs to you but I think this may be enough for now.

Thanks,

James Wald
