Yes, it's me again. Thanks in advance for your time. We are connecting to a site using lftp and ftps protocol to put a file. The local system is Suse 9.0 running our recently compiled lftp Version 3.0.13 client.
Here is the connection string: lftp -p 4830 -u smhf ftps://ftp.vendor.com The vendor system accepts the password, then I lcd and cd to the corresponding directories. Then I send the file using a simple put: put SMHP20050131.TXT The file upload begins at a very fast rate, then quickly slows to a crawl and eventually stalls. I've looked over all the lftp set commands and the conf file with no luck trying several things. We can send the file very quickly from a Windows NT workstation running ws_ftp pro running the same protocol (ftps). I've also double-checked with the network guys managing our firewall. We tried using lftp and ftp protocol to a Red Hat server that we own outside of our firewall. That upload runs very fast as well. Unfortunately, that server will not accept ftps protocol for a test. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! - Mike Mike Patterson Systems Administrator III Saint Mary's Health Network 235 W. 6th St. Reno, NV 89503 [EMAIL PROTECTED] office: 775.770.3094 fax: 775.770.3647
