Does lftp work with a squid proxy requiring authentication? The man page says:
If your ftp proxy requires authentication, specify user name and password in the URL. but I can't seem to get that to work. Even better would be if there was a way to get lftp to prompt for a username and password. Putting the password on the command line is risky in this environment (shared offices, labs and the like where someone else could easily look over your shoulder as you type). (lftp version is 3.0.13) Thanks -- Ian
