hello to all from an lfpt
newbie,
I have tried an fxp transfer from two urls
(servers properly configured for remote passive and port commands) with the
command:
the transfer goes on ok, but if I try to
abort it in the middle, lftp says "interruption" and stops, but the transfer
actually goes on in background (the two servers keep talking to each
other)......
Is this a
bad usage of mine (command line, conf file), an unimplemented feature , a
bug
...
....The reason why I started working with
lftp is that I am also
developing a "data moving" ftp client which is supposed to trasfer
files between two hosts using the FTP server-to-server transfer , and my
only left trouble is how
to REALLY abort the transfer if
the user of my module wishes for any reason to stop transferring.
Has anyone any
hints on how to tell two servers to stop an FXP transfer from a 3rd host client?
thanks a lot,
Michelangelo
