Thanks for a really nice FTP/SSH2(fish) client! :)

One thing that I really would like to see implemented
into lftp is the FTP-over-SSH2 functionality that
SecureFX (http://www.vandyke.com/) client under
Windows have.

FTP-over-SSH2 lets you login to a server thru sshd
running on that host and then let sshd connect you to
the running ftpd on the host. With that you have the
_BIG_ advantage of not needing to have a valid shell
on
that host (You put /bin/false in /etc/shells and set
/bin/false to the users shell. Nothing more is need to
be done on the server to have it work!). The ftpd on
the host sees the connection coming from localhost (I
use pure-ftpd 1.0.9).

It really works and would be really nice if it could
be implemented into lftp since there are no clients
available for Linux that can handle this!

If anyone is thinking about the fish-protocol in lftp:
FTP-over-SSH2 is NOT the same as the fish-protocol.
The fish-protocol do need a valid shell on the host to
work and FTP-over-SSH2 does NOT need that!

Thanks in advance!

    Best regards / FM
