bison was it ... gosh .... everyone knows that yacc is in the bison ... 
otherwise why would he yacc it up?

Now find out what your host does not have by running the script and viewing the 
output.

Or just do this and have ubuntu meet the host system requirements:

sudo apt-get install build-essential m4 bison texinfo gawk openssh- 
server && sudo dpkg-reconfigure dash     (bash is supposed to be the  
default shell)
