Are this ATA-HDD and this SATA-HDD connected to the same controller on the 
motherboard? If not, it's possible that the assignation of /dev/sda and 
/dev/sdb are alternating between the host system (or chroot environment) and 
your finished built LFS. But only under some certain conditions.
