I have followed the book to the "T" and got to 5.20 and had this issue with file-5.09. I got these: checking zlib.h usability... no checking zlib.h presence... no checking for zlib.h... no checking for gzopen in -lz... yes Can you please point me in the right direction to rectify this issue? I assume that the gzopen is the issue I am just unsure how to prevent it from using the gzopen. Thanks R.S.
