FYI - I tried the 32-bit version as I wanted to setup GRUB on USB thumb drive. It boots and detects the thumb drive, but did not list any other hard drive partitions (fdisk -l). Also had issues on warm reboot (CTRL + ALT + DEL). It would delay booting to scan the USB thumb drive and report errors on it (there are none).
