Hi, I ended the building of LFS-6.7 but I noted some troubles. I start by saying that I did non install grub but for compatibility with the distribution of the host which is Slackware 12.2 I installed lilo and for obvious reasons installed also bin86 and nasm. An other thing is that I am not sure to have mounted the virtual file systems in Chapters 7 and 8. When I choose LFS at boot the box stops and presents the following response:
BIOS data check successful
Undefined video mode number: 305
Press <ENTER> to see video modes available, <SPACE> to continue, or
wait 30 sec
If I wait 30 sec or hit the spacebar there is a regular boot process but
with very big characters.
I don't understand at all what is the source of video mode 305.
I am asking myself if I can go forward or I have to go back and repeat all
the actions of Chapter 7, 8, and 9.
What do you think about this situation?
