Hello, I have subscribed to the lfs-support mailing list and I have been following it for a while. But recently I replied to couple of older posts which talked about the problem I was experiencing. But I could not see my messages in the mailing list at all. I used gmane to post those messages. I verified my email id to gmane.org list admins and got the following auto generated message. But my message is still not there on the lfs-support mailing list. Its been a week since I posted it. I referred to the Gmane FAQ and this question reflects my situation: "*I sent a reply, and got a message back saying that Gmane would forward the message to the mailing list. But it didn't reach the mailing list. *If Gmane says that will send the mail, it did. The matter is then out of Gmane's hands."
So I have couple of questions: 1) Was there any problem in the way I used Gmane? If yes, can you please let me know how to rectify it? 2) To seek help, is it correct to reply to an older post (especially) when it describes the problem that I also experience and add some more details? How does this work? By older post, I mean couple of weeks back. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. cheers, Anand. ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Gmane Autoauthorizer <a...@gmane.org> Date: Wed, Oct 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM Subject: Re: Authorization required to post to gmane.linux.lfs.support (fa6566c5457f2ae14b3e858bb28a6808) To: anand.aru...@gmail.com You are now authorized to post to the gmane.linux.lfs.support newsgroup.
