Hello, Thanks for the pointers to the two patches for make and perl.
On the change bars, of course you're right that the "What's New" list gives a person a good idea of where to look for changes, but I imagine there are still occasional tweaks to editing and patch commands, so it might still be useful if these were highlighted somehow or other.
