Greetings, I have managed to get through Section 5.5 ( GCC.4.4.3 - Pass 1) of LFS 6.6 and still have some hair left on my head.
I am now at Section 5.6 (Linux-2.6.32.8 API Headers<http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/stable/chapter05/linux-headers.html>) and have gotten stuck in the mud. At this point I have finished pass 1 compilation of gcc and removed the build directories. I am now sitting in the $LFS/sources directory. According to the book my next step is to do "make mrproper" which has gotten me stumped. Do I do this make in $LFS/sources or do I need to extract the Linux kernel files and cd to the kernel directory and execute the commands in Section 5.6 in the kernel directory or something else entirely? TIA!
