 Hopefully, the earlier responses have pointed out what was wrong.
If you again get this sort of error you do need to do what it says and
look in 'config.log'.

 For a few packages, particularly gcc and binutils, there can be several
config.log files in different subdirectories - if that is the case, you need
to look at the latest of them.

 Search for the error message reported, then look around it (probably
in the 20 to 50 lines above the error) to see what was actually reported
(typically, missing or non-working linker).
