Playing around again with the drivers and running server's I'm getting the expected works/doesn't work behaviour. aaahhh! Sorry for the noise... Well I'm at it though I'll be explicit. They down arrow, back arrow page down keys worked for me, they just didn't repeat. Maybe we're not having the same problem with evdev. Trent.
