It could be true :
*if you have a distro on your pc
*if the distro allows a correct building of the LFS.
Sorry, but it's not 
usually the case. Several newbs stop install the LFS
because their 
distros dont't allow them to build the LFS correctly
to the end. Only 
for that, the liveCD project still continue.
