You are _really_ not supposed to use the "C" locale and the LC_ALL variable. Please switch to LANG=en_US and LC_ALL unset. If you really want to continue using your current setup, remove the following lines from $XORG_PREFIX/share/X11/app-defaults/XTerm: *VT100*locale: true *VT100*faceName: Monospace *VT100*faceSize: 10 And, BTW, wrong list - you should direct this to blfs-support. -- Alexander E.
