Other than LFS, the only distro I have seen play dvds right is one of the new kids on the block, PCLinuxOS. A really nicely polished new to Linux distro. Out of the box it has better wireless support than the *buntu group does. Uses synaptic package manager to front end rpm and actually handles packages almost like apt does. It is definately a distro to have handy for those that want to try Linux, it will convince die hard windows fans that Linux is worth using. ~snip~ > But, the batteries are now shot, the LCD's > backlighting is getting *tired* > and so I ordered a dual-core Turion that I'm waiting > to come in - to see > just how schweet LFS will run on *that.* ;-) > LFs is sweet on my AMD AM2 3800+ box, I bet it will rock on the Turion system. Jaqui Jeff Henager: "If the average user can put a CD in and boot the system and follow the prompts, he can install and use Linux. If he can't do that simple task, he doesn't need to be around technology." Website: http://jaqui-greenlees.net Get news delivered with the All new Yahoo! Mail.
