Something has gone wrong with your perl installation. Autoconf
requires some perl modules (like Data/Dumper.pm) that aren't installed
in /tools. For some reason, it is trying to use the modules in
/tools/lib/perl5. Did you install the final perl in /usr? You should
have /usr/bin/perl and /usr/lib/perl5/*.
i redid the install all the tests ran okay but i got a warning saying that there is perl
in "/tools/lib/perl5/" beyond the scope of the installation.. how can i fix
this?...
