Hi,
here's a couple of pointers that may (or may not) help...
Did you actually configure your fonts as explained in the subsequent
sections of the book Chapters 25 and 26?
Are your fonts installed in the paths that Xorg is looking? (Or are they
in /usr/share/fonts????)
