I upgraded my LFS 6.1.1 kernel from 2.6.14.6 to 2.6.15.1 and
/dev/mouse disappeared! Do I have to tweak udev? If I compare the
output of dmesg from the two kernels I see this:

<snip/>
227,228c227,228
< input: AT Translated Set 2 keyboard on isa0060/serio0
< input: ImExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse on isa0060/serio1
---
> input: AT Translated Set 2 keyboard as /class/input/input0
> input: ImExPS/2 Generic Explorer Mouse as /class/input/input1
<snip/>

I have an ASUS A8V motherboard, a Trust AMI Mouse 300 Optical
connected via a Newlink NLKVMP2PC 2-port KVM. There have been no
problems like this until now. I updated the kernel .config by running
"make oldconfig" and accepting the default answer to all questions.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
